In what ways did the
instructor create an environment which facilitated your learning
the material and meeting the objectives of this course?
1. The instructor was very open and clear on objectives. 2. I liked that we turned in an EFE, IFE, CPM, and SWOT, etc each week. It really helped with the individual project. Dr Bolendar answered questions and gave suggestions for improvements. 3. I liked how the assignments of each week built up to the two final papers. 4. He assigned strategic planning projects that would prepare us for an actual working experience. He was also very quick in his responses to questions that students had pertaining to our assignments. 5. virtual office hours 6. It is very difficult in an online course to provide true criticism or guidance. However, I believe Dr. Bolender was effective in communicating what flaws and strengths existed in my work and was able to facilitate the learning process through his encouragements and critiques. One especially positive point to this class which has not been demonstrated in any other was that Dr. Bolender would himself respond to every assignment or posting, thereby essentially becoming a student and allowing the group some semblance of how the assignment could be perfected. |

instructor improve his or her teaching of this course?
1. n/a 2. N/A 3. The instructor did a great job in teaching this class. I would not make any improvements. 4. I cannot think of any. 5. None. 6. Dr. Bolender was by far the most approachable and easily accessible professor in this program. However, once contact had been made, communication may or may not be effective. Perhaps Dr. Bolender's immense knowledge of the subject matter was more than could be stated in simple terms, but I feel that if Dr. Bolender were to state things more simply that comprehension would increase |
