27. [CT]   What are the professor's strengths and challenges as an educator? (Please be specific and identify which are strengths and which are challenges.)
* willingness to help students
* I don't have any complaints concerning my Professor.
* My instructor challenged each one of us to think and apply our knowlede of discussions and readings to our seminars, discussion questions, and projects.
* The professor's strengths are that he was very knowledgable on the subject and provided a good understanding of the course materials by discussing them in seminar.  His challenges as an educator I think are over assigning papers that are too long in length requiring too much time consuming trying to think of something more to write about for the subject at hand.
* no comment
* The professor was very helpful and challenging.  I see no challenges.
* Although the professor was very knowledgeable he skipped around a lot in the material, and totally changed the subject from what was assigned for study.  I studied for one thing and very seldom did we actually talk about what was assigned for seminar.  It was hard to be in seminar because of this.
* The professor's strenghts is his knowledge of course material and challenges each and every student to  do their best. He is a great instructor overall.
* n/a - he is a great professor and easy to listen to
* Professor Bolender was excellent.  He made the course very enjoyable and a great learning experience.  He is a great communicator.
* he challenged us  to dig deeply into the 60's
* He makes his students to understand and he makes his students to study and do the assignments without too difficulties.
* I thought he was a great professor and I really enjoyed his class!
* The professor was very in touch with the students. He was very easy to talk to and was very knowledgeable of the course materials and the history of the 1960s.
* The professor's strengths was the teachings  of the Interdisciplinary approach of  exploring the 1960's through weekly reading assignments, projects,  seminars and the discussion board, that made the course very interesting and enjoyable to learn. The professors challenges was keeping the students motivated and focused on learning the course material which he did, with feedback and encouragement.
