| Please identify strengths of the
instructor's teaching ability. 1. Ron is an excellent teacher!! Personally, my favorite so far in this BOL program. He presented the material very well and the way he remained available to us was tremendous. I appreciated his dedication. 2. The instructors ability to combine real life experience with academic experience was helpful. He is confident and makes class participants feel as though their comments add value. 3. Ron Bolender has so many strengths, I hope I'm able to do him justice in this brief review - he's truly a professional in the art of communication: an excellent listener and great speaker. He has a 'command' of the classroom from the time he walks in the room until the session is over. He demands alot - making the students stretch! He is always prompt in responding to questions. 4. This instructor was excellent at motivating the students and the cohart. 5. Ron is an excellent professor. He is a wonderful example of the type of instructor that should be a part of the AGS program. He has a natural ability to convey information in an interesting and relevent way. Ron's ability to stretch me out of my comfort zone, encourage me to do more, be more, and continually strive to be better is phenomenal. He demonstrates a strong knowledge of business and is able to speak to trends (both past & present), the nature of business today and where it may be headed. Ron is informational, interesting, and knowledgeable. I sincerely respect Ron's confidence in himself and his subject matter. I only wish that all of our professors were of Ron's high caliber and commitment to excellence! 6. Ron Bolender is an excellent instructor. Very knowledgable with real life experience. He has an open mind. He expects a lot and is a tough grader, but I would love to take another of his classes. 7. One of the best MVNU professors. He knows his material and can relate it to different environments. 8. His knowledge and ability to apply real world business scenarios to the classroom. 9. approachability, the ability to interact with the group and draw everyone into the discussion 10. Knowledgable and able to instruct in clear, challenging way but able to make it very interesting and fun. 11. This instructor was strongly inspiring in the area of management innovation, which is a breath of fresh air in the MVNU culture. He also made a great effort to partner alongside the students to help them be successful. I appreciated the heads up he gave me on preliminary assignments. I was most impressed with the fact that after class when he would answer questions from the students, he would actually kneel on the floor to talk to them so he could be at eye level, which demonstrated his heart for serving others. 12. Mr. Bolender's knowledge of and passion for this is impressive. |

| What aspects of the curriculum
were most relevant? 1. I really enjoyed the Built to Change text, as well as the Research project. Initially, I thought it was too much work, but now on the end, the BRP was a tremendous learning experience. 2. The book was excellent. I purchased it as a gift for a friend. 3. Writing a solution to a problem. 4. Other than the Biblical Foundation course with Dr. Dishon, this was definitely the class that I have enjoyed the most. I'm fortunate to be in a managerial position, and I was really looking forward to having a class that would help me with some challenges that I am experiencing at work - this class did just that. Ron's instruction coupled with the teachings in the Built to Change book really helped me gain alot of knowledge on how to move forward with a particular challenge at work. His ability to lecture on such a great topic was superb! 5. Understanding how to establish a leadership role! 6. Having the opportunity to tie a business problem into our Business Research Project was incredibly valuable and relevant! 7. the actual business research project 8. lecture and assignments. 9. Business Research project was so time consuming but so worth the efforts. I learned so much. 10. The textbook is very good and relevant. |
| Least? 1. A couple of the lesser assignments and exercises, although good in their own right, take valuable time and focus away from the main project(s). The primary projects, i.e. the literature review, final solution, and presentation, demand a lot of time. 2. a few group in class activities. 3. none 4. none 5. None 6.
