| The course text should be edited; there is one
major map labeling error, plus another statement that makes no sense.
The instructor was great. He was very timely in answering questions, and
he provided thought-provoking discussion postings. The discussion
assignments were excellent for critical thinking, though they involved
some controversial topics that could start arguments. Overall, the
learning experience was best for its critical thinking applicability,
though the material had little practical applicability, since I will
never have contact with these remote cultures. |
| way too much for only a 5 week course, perhaps it
should be broken to 2 separate classes or maybe the posts need to be
better thought out to provide better coverage of understanding because
when advertising a class that fits into a busy schedule, this was not
one of them. |
| Mr Bolender made class a joy, extremely timely in
grading, gave extremely good feedback. I feel like I picked up a great
deal of knowledge in this class. I appreciate the way it was structured
and the assignments. Mr Bolender provided relevant questions that called
for critical thought. When i do recommend Ashford i would have to say
that so far my teachers have been very quality. And I hope they get Mr
Bolender. |

| I HATE that books are online only!!!!! Yes, you
can download them to your computer but I want a book I can physically
take with me to work to help me study and better understand the class.
