Summary Another long day of travel, travel, travel.
| From Ronald Bolender's journal | Left 7:10 am and headed for San Antonio which we
arrived at 7:45 pm. I drove from Little Rock to Dallas, Texas.
It was another beautiful day for driving. I feel as if the trip will be an enjoyable experience. There was a stop at the boarder of Texas-Arkansas at a Texas tourist guide; it was well worth the stop for it gives all you would want to know about Texas. There is a change in scenery that started just before Dallas--that became very noticeable toward San Antonio. It is the fact that it has long horns, buffalo, and the real west look. On I-35 Southwest we stopped at a little place called Robinson Hams and it was the best; just like a country store and it was the place of national winning hams. |
