Arnold Bolender

   

BOLENDER, Arnold J. Age 85, passed away Wednesday, July 12, 2006, as the result of an auto accident.

Arnold was born October 24, 1920 in Felicity, Ohio to Herbert J. & Gertrude G. (Love) Bolender.

He was preceded in death by one son, Timothy L. Bolender; one daughter, Caroline Sue Bolender; and by one brother, Ralph Bolender.

He is survived by his wife of the past 56 years, Berl (Fortner) Bolender; three sons, Dale & Norma Bolender of Centerville, Randall & Perevi Bolender of South Charleston and Arnold Lynn Bolender of South Charleston; four grandchildren, Casey, Jason, Shannon and D. J.; three great grandchildren; four brothers and sisters, Wanda & Wilmer Roe, Leon & Dorothy Bolender, Eleanor & Joseph Dedek and Merrill & Donna Bolender; sister-in-law, Patricia Bolender; and by many nieces and nephews.

Arnold was a life-time member of the Church of the Nazarene and of the New Life Church of the Nazarene for the past 26 years, where he held many offices.

He retired in 1987 from Chrysler Air Temp with 22 years of service.

The family will be receiving friends from 10:00 - 12 Noon, Monday at the New Life Church of the Nazarene, 4400 Powell Road, Huber Heights, Ohio 45424 (www.newlifenaz.com) where funeral services will follow at 12 Noon. Pastor Heath Countryman will officiate. Interment will follow at Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery.
